HR-Manager

URSA is one of the largest insulation producers in Europe with 13 production locations and a strategically connected distribution network. The company belongs to the Etex Group with an annual turnover of 3 billion € and 13,500 employees in 45 countries. For the Ursa plant located in Desselgem, we are looking for a :

 

HR Manager

 

Responsabilities :

  • Manage the HR team within their scope.
  • Coach, mentor and develop the teammates to support their aspirations and performance.
  • Be an Etex Ambassador by positively promoting the Company on various forums and networks (e.g., Linked-In): to entice candidates to consider career opportunities with Etex and raise the Company Profile externally and internally by celebrating initiatives, people successes, employment opportunities and good news stories.
  • Provide guidance to Managers/leaders etc… of employee relations issues
  • Conduct regular people review meetings with key stakeholders to ensure key activities are addressed as part of the employee and company life cycle processes.
  • Work with managers to support the talent management processes for recruitment, development and succession planning purposes.
  • Identify training needs within their scope and individual executive coaching needs in cooperation with the HR Team.
  • Support managers and leaders in the management of country reward schemes in collaboration with HR Teammates.
  • Support a culture of positive behaviour and performance, valuing output over input to ensure good wellbeing practices and work life balance.
  • Contribute and make valuable recommendations on HR policies and processes and implement them where necessary.
  • Work with key business partners to assess and rollout engagement plans to improve the organizational effectiveness and support Etex as being a great place to work.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • You report to the global head of HR.

 

Qualifications, skills and competencies

  • ­Higher education or equivalent by experience­
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant HR Management experience­
  • Fluently in Dutch, knowledge of French and English­
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills­
  • Interest in the latest developments, best practices and trends in HR.
